Siat invests in Deroose Plants

On February 11, Siat signed an agreement with Deroose Plants nv (DRP), whereby Siat acquires a stake of 38% in the shareholding of DRP.
Deroose Plants is a well-established name in horticulture.
From branches in Belgium, the United States and China, Deroose Plants breeds and grows a complete line of indoor plants.
DRP specializes in improving and multiplying Bromeliads, Spathiphyllum, carnivorous plants, House bamboo and various other plants.
DRP also researches the cloning of rubber trees in its in vitro laboratory, which is of particular interest to SIAT, and which Siat believes is a promising technology for the future development of its tree crops.
